The dash kit was provided as part of the purchase price for an in-dash head unit. As it turned out, I was able to re-use the OEM dash unit, which suited me fine as the OEM part had some advantages over the replacement unit.
The replacement dash kit was apparently missing a screw (1 of 5) holding the two halves together, resulting in a conspicuous gap in a very noticeable location. Crutchfield was more than willing to replace the dash kit, but since I didn't need it anyway, there was no point.
