I have this setup for using it for my in-dash dvd reciever. I only have a few complaints about it....
1) You cant control the ipod from the head set, you have to select the videos from the ipod. Painn
2) Music Videos i bought off of itunes were kind of fuzzy and distorted, but not really bad.
Over all, if you have a lot of videos on your Ipod i would suggest it, But careful, the quality sometimes isnt the best.

This item installed easily with my IVA-D310 system. I thought the "owner's manual" could be more helpful, especially about wire hookups, but it was simple enough to figure out if you had the D310 manual handy. I have not tried the video function, but its great with an i-Pod nano connected. I have a concealed unit so I work it from the i-Pod. The controls are limited from the D310 screen and that might be an issue with some people.
