This is an excellent product, you get nav on a screen without having to spend thousands of dollars. The only negetive is that like all alpine units it requires you to go through all of the steps so it is safe while the vehicle is moving. To get to the illumination control and antenna adapter I had to pull my whole deck apart to conect it in, and I wish it had used AI-NET or optical conections so that you did not have to pull the dash apart to connect the 13 pin connector. After that was done the unit, is excepetional, but on last thing you should know is that the docking station is much larger in person than it looks on the screen, depending on the vehicle you are installing it in, hiding it could be difficult. Overall Alpine did an exceptional job to add to what was already an excellent product in the blackbird.

I have been anxiously awaiting the release of this for some time now! I am using this with the IVA-W200 and it is wonderful. Makes it alot easier to read and view the maps.
Pros - Touchscreen interface - Now you can listen to any source and have the voice commands play thru the stereo (not just the ones on the SD card) - Looks like its from the factory
Cons - The only thing that disapoints me is it still solely relies on sats. for your position, while researching this I read somewhere that there was a VSS(Vehicle Speed Sense) hook up with the dock, I wish there was because it still is a little jumpy and i hate coming out of tunnels or large overpasses and have to wait for it to reconnect to the sats.
Other that that its a must have if you have a compatable Alpine In-Dash!
