The best speakers for the size. I put the in the front door of my '92 Volvo 240. They sound Great. So much better than the paper factory speakers. Has great bass. Has very nice high sounds. They also have a nice color, they have a stock grayish color. Very easy to install, and look and sound great.

The Alpine SPS-10C2 4" speakers fit nicely into the rear sides of my 92 MR2. No problem wiring them in with the Crutchfield provided wire harness. They replaced a set that had no bass. I was thinking of a sub woofer but no room for it and an amp. The Alpines have a good bass to add some depth to the music. With the speakers being only a few inches from your ear you don't need anything big or powerfull. I am very pleased with the speakers and Crutchfield's service. The speakers arrived two days before they were schedualed to.

This speaker was alot more than i expected, instalation was a snap and the sound quality is excellent.

It was time for an upgrade on my Volvo 850's factory installed speakers. Since Volvo uses a very unique size speaker in their cars, it was recommended that I purchase the 4" speakers for the front doors since 5 1/4 wouldn't fit. (BTW: 5 1/4 speakers DO fit in a '96 Volvo 850)
I tried these 4" speakers for about 2 weeks and was a little disappointed in their performance. I think the main reason for my dissatisfaction is due to the fact that they are only 4" speakers trying to replace larger speakers that were previously installed in the car. Basically, there was not enough bass and they would just barely start clipping when you turned the volume up high. These poor little speakers were not meant to be the main speakers in my Volvo.
Great news though, I returned them to Crutchfield and I STILL bought the SAME Alpine model speakers but in a 5 1/4 size and love them. So overall, it may not be the speakers fault here but my stereo power and compatibility with these smaller speakers. The 4" speakers were great with normal listening volume but if you heard a song you liked or had the windows rolled down and needed to turn the volume up they definitely started to struggle to maintain their bass. I'm glad I stayed with Alpine and got the larger size. Make sure you get the right speakers for the right job.

great quality sound! installation was a breeze. you can even use oem bracket that's there! keep up the good work at crutchfield!
