Great Home Theatre Speaker System |

I purchased the Bose Acoustimass 10 Series IV speaker system to upgrade my home theatre system. The system was relatively easy to set up and calibrate. (I am using a Yamaha RX-V663 receiver, utilizing the YPAO acoustic optimizer which is very easy to use.)
I auditioned several brands of speakers before deciding on the Bose. To my ear, the Bose system just sounded more natural and clear than the others.
Everything from movies, to music sounds really natural. I am amazed at the bass output. Bass notes sound full and deep without coloration or distortion. Midrange and treble sounds are clear and distinct. I noticed immediately I could clearly hear each musical instrument in a musical passage. Movie dialog and sound effects sound full and rich, which adds greatly to the home theatre experience.
I am very pleased with the Acoustimass 10s. I highly recommend them for the sound they produce, but they are also very decor friendly. They blend well with your room without being intrusive.
You should give these a listen. I think you will be amazed at the sound.
You can buy with confidence, because Crutchfield has the best satisfaction warrenty around with no hassles.
Bose and Crutchfield are both highly recommended in my book.

I couldn't have asked for a better home theater speaker system. I have
tried larger floor speakers and the Bose Acoustimass 10 blew them all
away. It is amazing the amount of sound and clarity that 5 small cubes and
a sub can produce. I purchased the Acoustimass 10 with an Onkyo TX-
SR605 and I am in heaven. Thanks Crutchfield...excellent price and
excellent customer service.

I had done some research and decided to use this speaker system with a Onkyo TX-SR604 receiver. The one review I read at this site made me worry about my decision. The sales and delivery from Crutchfield was amazing. I only wished I had seen their $100 credit if I purchased the receiver and speakers from them before I ordered the receiver from another company. Setup of the system was a breeze and the auto calibration feature of the receiver worked perfectly. I am not experiencing the same mid range and subwofer issues posted earlier. Price of the speakers is the only thing that keeps me from giving a rating of 5.
