A Great Compromise |

We had been living with a 19" TV for 30 years and it was time for an upgrade. The Bose System was part of that. The big thing was that the speakers were small. My wife didn't want ANY speakers ("The TV sounds just fine.") So they look good to her and sound good to me.
Another thing is that the Acoustimass Module (which looks like a subwoofer) has a big cable bundle which connects to the speaker outputs on the receiver and then the 5 speakers connect to the Acoustimass Module. Again, it sounds great but there is a lot of cable running around.
Crutchfield has been great! Their prices are good and I have called several times to find a patient, knowledgable person there to get me out of a jam.

Great package for a small space |

I wanted to add speakers and an LCD TV to a 30 ft travel trailer and these fit the bill. Luckily, the trailer was previously wired for surround sound, so cabling was easy. The small size of the speakers made it easy to mount them to the low ceiling without hitting your head. The sound quality is excellent. The sound can really fill the small space and the subwoofer can vibrate the floor at high volumes.

Fantastic sound and a great value. If you are looking for big sound in a small package these are for you. Only negative is that Bose should include the wall mounts as part of the package. Extra $125 for mounts is a bit steep. I also purchased the Yamaha RX-V663 to complete the system. Great service from Crutchfield.

I am very happy and satisfied with the Bose Acoustimass 6 System. The cubes are very small and produce very good sound. The base reponse is good and the sound is very clean. They are unbelievable.
This speakers do play loud, but Bose is known for the clean and realistic sound. If you are looking for speakers that just play loud, this is not the right system for you.
Bose Acoustimass 6 System is good for smaller living room. Bose Acoustimass 10 or 16 is great for a bigger room. I recommend matching this system with Onkyo receivers. Bose stores use Onkyo receivers for demonstration. Onkyo systems produce powerful and clean sounds
It is a bit expensive compared to other brands, but you can't go wrong with the Bose system. You will not regre it.

What an experiance!!! I spent alot of time researching Speakers for my entertainment System, Infinity,Polk,Sony, and kept coming back to Bose. Small but a very big sound sound.Bose® Acoustimass® 6 Series III was easy to install.What a differance. Thanks Crutchfield
