This Bose Portable Sound Dock is a fantastic and wonderful invention. We had initially purchased the sound dock that is not portable and quickly realized we need to portable one because it is capable of allowing any input of audio via its auxilliary port. We do not own an iPod but we have mp3 players. This device is compact. Its charge lasts for a very very long time. The sound quality that comes from this unit is unsurpassed.... If you want to travel with it, the place where you would hook up the iPod is convertible and can be folded into the machine for ease of transport. We are so happy with it... we both smile when we turn it on.... Thank you Bose for being a great company and for inventing the Portable Sound Dock.

Great and Easy To Use |

I purchased two of the portable SoundDocks. One is for the family and one just for me. The family unit is constantly in use, sounds great and has been well received by my not-so-technical family. I was just recently (and finally) able to get my wife to move from a CD boom box to iPod. The Bose SoundDock added back the boom box functionality with a level of ease of use that was well received by my wife. Now she uses it all the time. The one for me is used when I am on the road. I use it in presentations with high-quality videos (off computer) and it easily fills a 30x30 room with sound that is clear, full and distortion free. I have also loved taking it back to the hotel to watch movies at night--complimenting my Dell 17" laptop monitor and again listening to my music in the morning when I am getting ready for work.
I am sooooo glad we got these units!

As an older woman, I love my music but like to keep the technology simple and user-friendly. This is an amazing but easy way to enjoy the songs on my IPoD all over the house. Other than the high price, I was pleased with every aspect of the portable SoundDock. Very clear, crisp sound with lots of separation, bass, and volume. I highly recommend it to anyone with $400 to spare for a great sound.

I sure wish BOSE would be able to make their products at a bit lower price but you can't beat the sound this system produces.
