Already got an Infinity BassLink II powered sub? Expand its capabilities with the Basslink 4sc module. Just slide this amplifier board into the expansion slot on the BassLink II and you've added a 4-channel amplifier to your powered subwoofer.

Once the board is installed, your expanded BassLink II sends 35 watts to each of your vehicle's front and rear speakers, in addition to the 250 watts already powering its internal 10" square sub. It maximizes the performance of your front and rear speakers by using a high-pass filter to keep the bass with the subwoofer where it belongs.

As an added bonus the BassLink 4sc can create a phantom centre channel. It sharpens and improves the stereo image of your music without adding an extra speaker. The wired remote control included with your BassLink II powered sub lets you adjust the phantom centre channel settings from the driver's seat.

Great performance/integration/packaging, POOR reli July 6, 2008

I purchased a Basslink II with the free 4SC expansion module.  The integration of the unit to the Basslink II is efficient and makes for a clean package.  

However, within 6 months, the 4SC expansion module failed.  The Basslink II still worked but there was no sound from the car speakers.  The 4SC power still illuminated and there was some snapping/popping sounds when adjusting the head unit's volume.

Crutchfield promptly shipped me a new Basslink II and 4SC module and I mailed back the faulty units via prepaid shipping from Crutchfield.  Five stars for Crutchfield warranty service.

Recently, the 2nd 4SC just failed exhibiting similar symptoms after replacing it 18 months ago.  I am not sure if it is the 4SC unit itself or the connection between the Basslink II and 4SC.  Now I am out of the warranty period and am forced to buy another 4SC (fingers crossed) since my car is configured to run it.  The package is great when it works but 4SC reliability gets one star.  No wonder it was discontinued.

This came free with purchase of the Basslink II subwoofer.  Perfectly compliments it.  I was initially running the door speakers off the head unit (Alpine 18Wx4 RMS).  This is MUCH cleaner than the head unit amplifier.  Definitely worth wiring up this amp module.
