I just replaced the factory speakers in my 2000 Jeep Wrangler with two pairs of Infinity Reference speakers: 6422cfp 4"x6" in the front and 5022i 5-1/4" in the sound bar. They sounded much better than the factory speakers, but needed more power. So, I replaced the factory head unit with a more powerful after market one and that made all the difference. They sound awesome! They look good and have amazing highs and mids. The mid-bass they provide is OK, but they really need a sub to complete the sound. That's why I say they are a great part of a complete system. Make sure they are amped and add another component for some more bass. I don't want any big boom or anything, but it definitely needs that extra kick. Once that's added, this system will be perfect!

These speaker are great, I had them installed in the back of my 2002 WRX. The highs are crisp, the mids very clear and unvelibable bass for such a small speaker. The most amazing thing is that they are driven with the factory head unit. No distortion whatsoever even at volumes that the factory cheese spred speaker would cry for help. Higly recomend.

Purchased for 2000 Cherokee... Put these in the rear sound bar. I like the sound, but I was expecting more bass. This is probably due to the fact that the speakers are above and behind the driver. Just be warned for other cherokee applications, these speakers will rattle the roof.

I recently purchased these speakers to complement two Infinity 4x6 in my Jeep Wrangler Dash, two Infinity 1021t tweeters (flush mounted on the I-Pillars) and an Infinity Basslink in my rear cargo area. My tweeters are powered by my Pioneer P2900MP 50x4 deck, my dash and roll bar speakers are powered by an Infinity 475a amp (75x4 @ 4 ohms). Crossovers on the tweeters, 150 bassblockers on the 4x6's. I absolutely love my all Infinity sound system. Wouldn't change a thing. Crutchfield experts are truly tbe best.
