Just installed these component speakers in my sierra pickup truck> together with a 4 Channel alpine amp and a pioneer head unit, i'm blown away to the quality of the sound from these speakers. I don't know what I was thinking using the factory setup for 2.5 years. Highly recommended and the price is really good!

This is an excellent system that holds to the Infinity reputation. I installed this set in both the front doors and rear deck of my Chrysler 300M running off the factory Infinity II system. They perform very well and exceeded my expectations.
I found the quality of the system and the installation hardware included to be higher than I anticipated. The installation instructions had good diagrams, but I would have appreciated some written instruction.
The sound is very clear, though the highs can be a little harsh. But they aren't shrill like some brands and it's nothing a little EQ tweak can't fix. I should state that I did not use the Infinity crossovers as my system has a crossover built into the factory amp. I found the sound quality much clearer and more defined than before.
Overall, if you're an audio enthusiast and want a pure(r) sound quality, then you can't get much better than Infinity.

Great Speakers but disappointed in Crutchfield |

These speakers sound great when they are hooked up, if you are looking for bass they aren't going to be a good alternative to a woofer but they aren't bad, the high's sound clear and everything...I own a 99 Subaru Impreza L (sports Wagon) and i entered all this into the crutchfield car selector and they said that the item fits..it said that the speakers will fit the stock mounting brackets when they were no whee close, my stock brackets have three holes and these speakers have 4 screw holes..so right there they didn't work, i thought no big deal i will use infinity's ran into a problem here because these screw holes weren't long enough to reach the holes in my door so i had to razor them down quite a bit..when i had them in they were working and all until i put my window down, the window actually bent the connectors on the speakers because the speakers are too deep..

I have used infinity speakers in my last few vehicles. Choosing components for the front doors of my newly purchesed camaro was an easy choice. Installed very easy, not needing any of the adapters that came with the speakers. Sound quality has been great. I am powering them with the front channels of my Profile AP740 amp, and they are taking the full wattage from it. No disortion, very clear mids and highs.
I will not hesitate to buy again, and recommend them to anyone. Truely a great speaker for the price.
The tweeters come with a large assortment of mounting options which may be healpful in some vehicles.
My only complant, and this is a small one, is I can't seem to figure a way to mount the crossover. Most people just stick them in the door anyway, but water exposure concerns me, so I prefer to mount them in the passenger compartment. THe old model was easily taken apart to screw to a panel, but these don't seem to be able to do that with out damaging the plastic. I may just be overcautious and will look into them some more.
