I purchased two pair of the GTO's for my F-150 SuperCrew and was amazed at the ease of installation....only took 15-20 mins per door. The master sheet from Crutchfield was spot on with precise details for the installation. I mated the speakers with a new JVC HD radio and the sound is fantastic. Rich highs aimed right at my ears (adjustable tweeters), along with surprisingly good bass response from a small in door speaker make these gems a super buy!

I have a 2000 ford expedition and recently upgraded the sound system with a kicker sub woofer, its sounded great but with all the bass the factory premium sound speakers were muffled and very fuzzy when the sound was turned up. So originally I was looking for great sounding speakers, originally I was looking for kicker to match my sub, but after hearing them, I felt they werent good enough. So I was talking to an expert and he reccommended the JBL GTO's and I took his advice and bought 2 pairs. Right away there was just a clear difference in everything from the JBL's having capacitators and huge magnets, tweeter and a hard material backing. After finally figuring out how to get the doors apart which believe me expeditions aren't so easy, the speakers went in nicely although the factory wiring was too short in the front so that had to be extended. Finally the speakers were in and the vehicle sounds fantastic, Its very clear, nice and loud and overall amazing. I'd reccomend them to anyone.

I've got an '05 F-150 Supercrew & wanted to replace the factory speakers. I shopped various other brands & finally decided on the JBLs. The install was simple, took just a few minutes per door. The sound of these is really good even w/the factory HU (which I plan on NOT replacing). I can't wait to hear how they sound w/a bit more power from an amp. They really defined the highs & the bass is better than factory. (No 6x8s are going to THUMP....they simply don't have the surface area. I had thought about components for the front doors but decided to try these first (I can add the infinity tweet any time) & am totally satisfied.
