These speakers are amazing. all the highs, mids and lows are clear. Even with 25 watts a channel these speakers still thump in your chest. The lows are good enough that the average person wouldn't need a subwoofer. These speakers are hooked up to a wheelchair system i designed and built with q-logic boxes, a small amplifier with an ipod hooked up to it and an external battery.

These speakers really hit all the lows, mids, and highs. Providing great bass for a 6x9, yet such clarity, is just not a mix always seen. I love these speakers and know that you will too.

These sound great! I don't have any immediate plans on putting a subwoofer in my 06 Corolla yet, especially after hearing these speakers. The bass is clear and tight, but you don't quite get into the inaudible rumble of a subwoofer, but it gets pretty darn low with full bass and sounds precise all the way. All sounds are very crisp and tight. You can hear all sorts of details high, medium and low and everything is very clear, even when you crank up the volume. They just beg to be cranked up because they sound so good. They also have a button on the speaker to increase tweeter output by 3db which is nice. I highly recommend!

first off i would like to say im officially a jbl believer. alpine cda-7873 decked running 3.5's in the dash, 5.25's in the doors, and 100rms each in the back with a mtx thunder amp @ 2 ohms. all i can say is unbelievable. ive had pioneers before these and they didnt even come close. the bass is incredible for just 6x9. only rated down to 50hz, you cant even tell by the way they pound. and they seriously POUND. they make my mirror shake and heads turn. they only seem to get muddy at ear bleeding levels. bass remains great on the loud level though, thats why i bought them mainly, ive heard jbl is known for bass and volume. only complaint i can think of is tweeter 'brightness' lacks at extremely loud volumes. ive had 3 buddies roll in it with me and they all thought i was running sealed 8" subs. dont even consider anything else, these are a must buy.

I am a big fan of JBL anyway. These sound great. Good bass response. You will not be sorry if you purchase these. They make such a big difference over the stock speakers in my 04 Titan. Install was a breeze but then again I work for an automotive dealership, so I do this everyday. Crutchfield's instructions are right on the money.
