Purchased these speakers for the front door and rear deck of an 2003 Ford Mustang with the Mach 460 system. The worked well in the door with the bass blockers, but the rear deck they did not work so, well had to call tech support to figure out why they kept turning off. We figured out that the factory speaker was a 7ohm speaker and the JL Audio was just a 4ohm speaker, so just returned the one set and re-installed the rear factory speakers. If I ever want to upgrade my rear speakers the whole factory system will have to be re-worked and new system installed with amps.

Put these in first when doing my audio upgrade in my 2004 Mazda 6 and boy are these clear. They really opened up after I put in my Alpine CDA-9884 HU. Enough bass to almost not use my MTX sub, but I like to really feel the bass of techno and rap. My g/f listens to 80's in my car on sirus and she really likes the way these JL's sound. I have very little distortion at high volume, and especially when I leave the bass low on these and turn it all to my sub. I bought these from crutchfield outlet to save a few bucks and would definitely do it again. Scratch and dent would be a great deal too.

Perfect fit for Newer Ford's. I put them in my 07 Ranger. Very simple to install with the wiring harness. The speakers sound great. I would recommend these to anyone.

Hi,These are the best speakers I have had in my 2008 Ford Explorer to date.I have tried the Kenwood KFC-6880ie's and Pioneer's TS-A6872r's but the JL Audio's TR570CXi's top them easily.Even though the JL's are listed with less bottom end frequency response then the Pioneers or the Kenwoods the JL's clearly produce more bass along with clear mids and highs.Consider that a bass drum is in the 100-300Hz range anyway.
