I recently purchased the Kenwood DDX6019 for my 03 Yukon. It fits nicely in my dash and works well with my speakers. It also looks good as well. I recommend this DVD receiver to anyone who needs one.

Installation of this unit in my 2004 Chevy Cavalier was simple. All the supplied documentation and dash kit all provided by crutchfield for free is outstanding service. The on screen audio function controls to control mids, highs and bass are great. Picture and sound quality are outstanding. This is a very good buy for your money

The screen is a bit outdated, as the newer Kenwood Single Din are more "iPod" looking and less pixelated. Picture is fair, again, the newer screens have much more definition, etc. Also, the iPod interface is dates and the newer generation head units show artist, title, and you can search like you search on your iPod. Only wish I would have seen that before I upgraded to this one, might have been worth the extra investment.
But all things considered, this is one heck of a unit, works great with the iPod and HD modules I already owned, plug and play, sound is outstanding, and it has been great for my long commute to work. Interface is easy to use, very user friendly. I am very happy with it, but I also have that "keep up with the Jones'" part of me that wishes I has known more about the new models that have come out recently, with flip up screens, single din, and amazing picture and touch screens.

I just installed this unit this week. The installation was a breeze with the Crutchfield instructions and info I had found on the web. Keep in mind this is the first in-dash car stereo I've ever installed. The fit on my 2004 F150 is clean and flush with the center stack. The unit looks like it was a factory oem item. The picture on dvd movies is wonderful. The sound is much improved with just my factory door speakers. So far my only complaint is getting used to the menus to utilize everything this deck can do. I didn't order them initially, but I'm already thinking about the navi, bluetooth and ipod equipment (and I don't even have an ipod yet). So you can see I am more than satisfied with this unit so far.

I put this unit in an 07 avalanche LT, it looks great, as a matter of fact it looks stock. I have a stock system and it really improved the sound. One thing that i like is you can control the frequency and the level of bass mid and high. Another thing about this unit is that it is upgradable to nav, tv, camera, ipod, etc. If your looking for something around this price range, this is the one to get....oh yeah the DVD's sick picture quality. One negative is the remote, is does not illuminate in the dark, but it has a touch screen so who cares. I read alot of reviews did alot research I almost bought the JVC because of the SD card slot, but it does not have the audio control that this one has. Overall tight and I would highly recommended it!!!
