This product is absolutely great. The receiver has a great touch screen with many, many options. The installation wasn't too bad, except for the wiring harness. Being that this was my first time installing anything, the wiring harness was a bit of a nightmare, but the tech support here at crutchfield was EXTREMELY helpful...they explained any questions I had with great detail. After install was complete, about 2 hours, it looks absolutely amazing. It is very user-friendly and the GPS works great. It took a few minutes for the GPS to locate and start tracking. It definately is a great product, and I have no complaints.

Great system. Easy to install. Blue Tooth adapter works great. The DVD player and some cell phone functions will not work unless the park sensor is connected.

I installed this unit in my wife's 2000 Solara, The unit fit perfectly. after I spent 5 nights for a few hours at night (the only time I can spare...I have 2 years old Twin) finally completed. I worked on the firmware update on my work bench with a spare 12V battery at home, The unit had the latest firmware which is V 1.40. updated firmware from Garmin v.2.4 it finished smoothly. I download Bluetooth firmware V 1.6 and installer for the KCA-BT200, it's tricky update must have PC or laptop to transfer update VIA bluetooth, require Bluetooth dongle.update went smoothly take 5 minutes to finished.
Here is what I like the most: - Owesome screen for DVD playback - iPod interface works much batter than the ipod touch wheel. - iPhone once plug in start iPod mode on the DNX5120 and bluetooth connect after 5-10 seconds. - AM/FM radio sound almost CD quality. - Garmin GPS Rock! - Bluetooth works seamlessly with the iPhone (non-3g) - The turn on delay time isn't the fastest but o.k,
Here are the CON - Setup menu not too user friendly - The mode buttons are too small and too close together for changing mode. - Phone book search ONLY allow 1 alphabet search,
Conclusion. My wife like it a lot, bluetooth quality is acceptable...not the best. Garmin GPS rocks. Kenwood have a winner and this unit beat ALL of the newly release Pioneer AVIC-F series. I would recommend this unit over the Pioneer.

Ordered it on Sept. 12, 2008 and recieved it on Sept. 13, 2008. Thanks crutchfield. The product was easy to install and the results were great. This is an awesome price and with the camera this is a steal. The navigation worked great and was online in less than 30 seconds. The first time using it, I saved an extra 1.5 miles on my work commute. Would recommend this to anyone.

After installation in my 2002 Trailblazer I updated to the latest firmware from Kenwood and Garmin which went smoothly. Then I tested the Bluetooth interface with my iPhone 3G. I mounted the mic on the rear view mirror. The sound quality I was hearing in the car during a call was great but the caller heard noise from me. But if you press the button twice on the touch screen to transfer the call back and forth to the phone everything is fine.
I was shipped a receiver that doesn't save the channel presets on the HD tuner. With HD the sound quality improvement on FM is slight. On AM it sounds clearer but it has a real hollow, metallic sound. It's very annoying on AM when the receiver switches from digital to analog and back again when the signal level changes. The iPod interface works well with a Nano. There is some phone noise that gets into the speakers using the iPhone so just leaving a Nano connected in the glove box works better. I don't know what it takes to get video, though.
The Garmin navigation interface is not the latest and greatest Nuvi style display but it works well enough. The quality of the audio when it pronounces street names is very good. I need to fiddle with the volume settings a bit more because a good audio level when you're stopped seems is too soft when the audio is interrupted to announce an upcoming turn.
So the receiver is nice, the HD tuner is going back, and I'm hopeful Kenwood will fix the Bluetooth/iPhone issue.
