i bought these to replace some old blown speakers in my car. for the $ they were a nice replacement without going to crazy. i only have a basic kenwood deck to power them. the sound is plenty loud and clean even over my exhaust, with the top down, and at highway speeds.

i got these to replace my old factory speakers, they were at a good price and improved my sound greatly (replaced 18 year old 4" speakers) they dont seem to distort at high volumes but they are in the very back of my 4runner (terrible factory locations behind the back seat) so I really cant tell what sound is coming from back there because the 4" speakers in my dash are very overpowering even with the system faded to the rear

I tried installing some speakers myself and could never find the right ones. A friend told me about Crutchfield. With their extensive database I got the fit right the first time, and they sent me everything I needed to install. The speakers sound great. I paired these with a 5x7's in the back.

For 3-way speakers, I expected better sound and better range. I guess you get what you pay for.......
