I've owned this amp for six months so far it only get loud but doesnt have the clarity i was looking for. I recently purchased a Alpine M450 and this amp is far superior to the kicker it not only get's louder it's also much clearer. For the price I would go with the Alpine amp because you get an amp with more adjustments and clarity is increased versus the kickers, which are meant to only get loud.

I bought this amp originally for my wifes car. She has two cvr 10's and i thought this would be an upgrade from the amp she currently has. After time and shopping around i decided to buy myself the zx 1000.1 for my car so i put my zx 750.1 in her car. I had my 750 on 2 cvr 15's and it sounded awesome. Now i'm goin with 2 cvr 12's and 2 cvr 10's. I have never tried different size speakers in one application but i thought it might sound nice. While i was waiting for my 1000.1 to arrive i decided to try the 300.1 on my 15's. It sound like someone was kicking my trunk, literally!! I sure am gonna feel sorry for what her speakers and my new speakers will go through once i put those other two amps to work. I bet i'll have to replace hers within a month or so. Kicker does it again!!!

This is really a good amp. I have it with 2 Kicker Comp 12's in a ported box with a Alpine HU. I can say this drives my Kicker 12's like theres no tomorrow. I really like the bass boost that gives my subs a little extra. It barely gets hot when I'm demanding the most out of my subs like BANG BANG BANG!!!!

i got a 2003 civic coupe..heres my setup ...deck - pioneer 3900MP fronts - pioneer 6.5" rated at 40rms rears - pioneer 6x9" rated at 60rms (not sure on that) two pioneer tweeters in the kick panel and now in my trunk i got a new KICKER COMP VX 12" which is in a ported kicker box the subs rated at 1500 peak n 750 rms (same sub as an L7 cept its round) and i got this amp pushin the one sub.and its enough. the subs good for about 800rms(kicker underates everything), and this amp although its rated at 300, its pushing sumwhere around 400rms...its consistent and has bass boost n everything..although its one of the smallest kicker amp, kicker underates all their products, thhis thing is STRONG. and its a small amp, im very impressed with it and its holding up good for now..no overheating, and the sound is crystal clear.
im sticking with kicker from now on..and i plan on getting a 4 channel kicker amp soon for all my speakers.
i give this amp 5 stars and it deserves it.its great its small, strong, clear, and cheap...cant beat it

I like this amp. I have it pushing 2 10 inch kicker cvrs dual 2ohms subs. I wired them as a pair for a final independence of 2 ohms. The 300 rms is wrong mine pushes 368 rms. This bumps hard in my mustang. Now i need a alpine head unit my jvc doesn't have enough sub output features. I recommend you to buy this amp. The other amps might say they are 300 watts but them amps are not as good as kicker.
