I ordered 6 of these to deliver entertainment surround in 3 rooms, connected to a whole-house Sonos system. They were slightly larger than I expected, but look great and blend well into the corners. The more power you send, the better they sound. At low volumes, they are fairly thin on bass, but are great for background music. Connecting them to a subwoofer supported system makes a difference. Be careful if mounting them near the ceiling. At heights above 6', it's recommended that you mount them upside down (which definitely sounds better at couch level). I put mine just below the crown moulding along my ceiling and could barely get to the screw that holds the speaker to the bracket above, having to use a quarter (as in 25 cents) to turn it.

Terrific little surrounds! |

I finally decided to equip my very, very oddly shaped living room with wall-mounted surrounds. Because of various structural problems, I couldn't go with in-walls, in-ceilings, or even floor-standings. I was stuck with wall-mounts or nothing. I couldn't be happier with these Mirages. They're small, yet the bass they produce is fine for a surround-sound speaker. Their size makes them less obnoxious than the wall-mounting I had to do could have ended up. Their sound dispersion--which is really what the things are most challenged with, considering the oddball shape of my living room (two-story ceiling for half of it, adjacent dining area, recess next to a fireplace, etc.)--is absolutely phenomenal. The sound-radiating designs of those little things was just what my system needed, and I'm completely satisfied. Thanks for the speakers, and thanks for your usual speedy delivery!

The Mirage OmniSat V2 is an excellent speaker and excels in many areas. I purchased a set of 4 in conjunction with the Mirage OmniSat V2 CC Center Channel Speaker and Mirage S10 Powered Subwoofer. They make a very satisfying combination. They are a bit light on mid-bass (as are all satelite speakers -- my previous satelites were Bose), but are very inobtrusive and produce very clear sound that is not as distinctly RIGHT or LEFT. That is to say, instead of hearing a sound coming distinctly from your speaker, it is more enveloping. They are equally good at producing fine music as they are with surround theater.
If I had adequate space, I would have preferred the floor-standing model. I am sure the mid-base would be improved, but the satelites are a very good compromise. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking an excellent total speaker system.

These speakers are great. Installation was a breeze. I mounter from the ceiling by adding an L-bracket and painted it white to match the speaker and supplied bracket. They are paired with a V2 Center Channel and a Dynamo sub. The sound is very consistent and clear as is radiates through the room from the Omnipolar design. Highly, highly recommend and would definitely pair with the matching center channel - matched perfectly for great consistent sound in a 5.1 set-up. Also, the ability to get these in white to match the decor and the black center channel made the wife extremely happy :). She didn't want the speakers taking away from our decor.
