I disconnected and took out the HDMI cable that was included with my DirecTV and plugged in the new Phoenix HDMI cable and the picture was absolutely amazing. I have a 1080p HDTV and the picture was sub-par, I actually had the TV box upstairs and was ready to return it but figured I'd wait for my new Phoenix cables. Good thing I did, great price and they work like a charm.

I'm using 2 Phoenix 500 hdmi cable's (one for the cable box and one for the DVD player). The digital HD/DVR cable box at times become pixelated which did NOT happen with the componet audio/video cables that I had. This is not a problem with the DVD player connection. Note: I chose these for the in wall CL rating which the monster cable did not have. Plus I only needed ~7 feet of cable. The monster had 6 feet and 13 feet. More cable=more signal corruption. I plan to leave the DVD hdmi, but switch back to the componet for the cable box for now. I haven't tried the monster cable yet. If you have the space, save the $70 and keep the componet cables.
