This mount works great and is really well designed. The 46' TV is so easy to adjust. Just what we were looking for. I bought stainless steel lag bolts to install it and used a stud finder and a thin nail to actually mark both sides of the stud and then drilling the pilot holes dead center, thus ensuring maximum grip for the lag screws.

I used this wall mount to hang a 42" LCD TV (Toshiba Regza) on my daughters bedroom wall. The time from beginning the assembly of the unit to hanging the TV on the wall was about 60 to 90 minutes. Really easy to use with very clear, easy to understand directions. If I can do it, anyone else can. I had no problem with the lag bolts supplied. I pretty much had a large blank wall to start with so this might be why it went up so easy. This unit is a very well built item. Nothing "Cheap" about this wall mount. The best thing about this wall mount was the ROLL feature. Even if you were off a little on the horizontal (Level) it could easily be adjusted after hanging the TV. The telescoping part of it made it super easy to to hook up your components. I had no problem with the frame blocking the component (HDMI) inputs comming out of the bottom of the TV. You really need 2 people for hanging the TV on the wall portion of the wall mount. A GREAT product from a Great Company (Crutchfield).

This mount could hold a 10 foot tv, it's that strong! It also has a great looking finish on it to. Mount comes with spacers for different shaped tv designs for a perfect fit. I also upgraded the Lag bolts to 5/16 x 3 inches for a extra hold to the wall. I'm very happy with this product.

I received this mount free with my TV, and it was worth it. I would not describe it as sheet metal as some do, more like plate metal. The mount is massive. I would worry about the wall collapsing before the mount breaks. I put it together in about an hour, and only needed help to get the TV on the wall. Simple design. I had no problem with the lag bolts as others did. Worth every penny I did not pay. It makes work on the back of the TV easy!
