I purchased this wall mount to use with my new Panasonic Plasma.
It bolted up too it just fine and the brackets didn't cover up any of the inputs on the TV. I have an access room in back of the wall where I mounted it and I cut out a section to get at all the inputs, worked great!! I highly recommend making a small room in back of your entertaiment center and TV if you are making a Theater area from scratch, it makes things so much easier to get at.
I was also able to lift the tv up on too the bracket by myself but I highly recommend you have a lift buddy to help.....
One other thing, having that access room enabled me to put in studding and blocking exactly where I needed it at to be able to put in all six lags.

Mounted to a drywall, wood stud wall. Good thing I was going to run all the cables inside the wall because the high quality cables will not bend tight enough to to clear the wall as this is a LOW profile mount. Worked perfect for the 46 inch sony. Mounting hardware 8MM screws were a bit short, nothing a trip to the hardware store did not cure easily. Looks great tucked tight against the wall. This is a sturdy, solid mount - probably overkill for my 30 pound TV. It was
easy to install - took me about a half hour to locate the studs, line up the
holes, drill, and mount. My only gripe is the mount blocks some of the
cable inputs on the back of the TV. I bought some low-profile monster
cables to resolve that issue.

This universal wall mount worked very well for securely mounting my TV on drywall and wood stud wall. Purchased at discounted rate as scratch and dent item, only the box was damaged.
TV is mounted close to wall and pluging in cables is sometimes dificult. However the TV can be easily removed from wall for easy access to cables and them easily replaced.

I purchased this wall mount to go with a Panasonic 50" PZ700U. It didn't work with that TV. We ended up purchasing additional washers to make it work. Very frustrating. Now that it's up on the wall I'm happy with it but it was a BIG struggle.
