This radio works well. Set up is a little tricky, but once you figure it out, it performs as advertised. Make sure you get some rechargeable batteries for the remote. It is tough on batteries. Would get 5 stars if not for the battery issue.

I got this unit to replace another home unit from Kenwood that never worked right. I thought I'd hold out for a while to see if there were any problems with it, and am happy to report there aren't any so far. While it's not snazzy looking (no color display) like the stilettos and it seems to need batteries more than other remotes, it is a great functional home unit and I can actually read the display rather than having to strain to see across the room. For me, that's a big deal in itself. It has a thin antenna wire about 3-4 feet long that I guess helps with aiming the remote, and the little box piece thing can be tucked away invisibly behind your other stuff. I found the instructions on how to program the remote to control other components difficult to follow, and eventually gave up. But I still like it a lot and it does what I bought it for.

Great receiver IR blaster don't seem to work the volume control on my surround receiver. I don't know if it's common or something with mine the remote eats batteries. Other then being a battery hog and not being able to control volume room to room it does it's job.

This Sirius receiver is great. I can control it from any room in the house, and with the IR Blaster the integration with my surround receiver is flawless. Easy to set up and use, and very affordable. Best of all, the unit itself is very small and can be tucked away out of sight.
Highly recommended.
