The picture on this set is very directional and changes brightness and color with vertical orientation. The audio mute button is very small and hard to push. I guess Sony don't want you to mute their commercials. The Audio out is low level requiring an additional amplifier and no way to control the level as it is not controled by the remote. A second remote for the external amp I guess.

This is a really sweet little box, and makes a perfect digital replacement for smaller analog TVs which may be on their last legs or have died/will be dying before the digital cut-over on Feb 17, 2009. Worked perfectly out of the box, picking up all 13 of the analog stations that the previous 20-year old Sony did. In addition, it has good reception of the almost all of the local digital stations (problems with the local ABC affiliate, whose digital signal may be being overwhelmed by the local NBC affiliate's digital signal, due to relative positions of transmitting antennas and/or channel frequency separation). I would certainly recommend this unit to friends and family. The other good point is that the user menus are pretty straight-forward and easy to figure out, even without reading the manual.

The TV showed up delivered within a couple of days. Very speedy and was in good shape. The TV works excellent, even looks good outside when tailgating. HD to beautiful to watch. Would recommend the TV to anyone with the need of a smaller portable TV. Love the handle on top. Would love a soft case for it, but can't find one. Crutchfield also had the best price around with free shipping. LOVE IT.

The sound on this 19" Sony model is wonderful! Had several other make LCD's that were very "tinny." That sold us immediately! No fault with the picture quality.
Crutchfield was right on. Set arrived a day ahead of schedule. No strain - no pain!
